August is the hottest month both in Cyprus and Egypt.

While in Cyprus, it is a pity not to make a quick trip to visit pyramids.

You have option of fly-Cairo-all inclusive or 2nights-1day-all inclusive cruise.

If you decide for a fly option ( 1h20min ), have in mind that:

- the flight is from Pafos at 6:30am, which means your transfer from A.Napa is at least 4hours earlier

- your flight back is sheduled to land at midnight, another 2hours drive to A.Napa

- all day sightseeing in Cairo: on the bus is 22C, outside is 40-45C; in and out all the time

Very difficult for a family with a child.

If you decide for a cruise( 16hours each way) :

- boat leaves at 2:30 or 4:00pm, depends on which one you choose; your transfer from A.Napa is at 11:00am

- you have entertainment for children on boat: magician, treasure hunt, drawing competition, movie time.

- boat arrive back before lunch and about 2pm you are back in your hotel

I would go for a cruise option.

It is wiser to book from now, usually there is an early booking discount until March. Have a look on their sites. August is quite busy and maybe you will not find a big choice.

And congratulations ! Have a nice wedding.

Well, you would have to consider the drive to Paphos first, which in peak time can take about two hours, and as in August, most industrial workers in Cyprus take the whole month for their holidays, it can get very busy here, with a lot of traffic on the move..

Then, the next problem will be the heat....August is extremely hot in both countries, and to be honest, I just don't think it would be fair on a child that age.

As someone suggested, you could take the ferry trip, and spread the trip over a couple of days, but the heat would still have to be considered!

We had a very hot summer here in Cyprus last year, with temperatures peaking at 45C in July. Cairo can get much hotter!

Don't want to rain on your parade...just dont want you to have a very hot, very miserable child to console!

However, I would like to take the opportunity to say congratulations, and i sincerely hope you have a wonderful day!! If I should find myself around the town hall area in Auguat, I may even see your wedding! I currently live in Xylofagou, just about 8K from Agia Napa.

hi yeah they do day journeys in many circumstances on a tuesdays and Thurdays it cost approximately £205cyp yet that consists of flights, foodstuff, front costs it relatively is an wonderful day. I do it a minimum of as quickly as a three hundred and sixty 5 days. As a everyday by way of fact it so perplexing to assist you already know what each organization does yet its in many circumstances a similar. You spend approximately 45mins on the Pyramid this is adequate. They take you to a attitude which you spend approximately 10mins there just to get a photograph of all 3 pyramids jointly. Then they take you to the sphinx for 45mins. you will pay to bypass interior the pyramid in the event that they have not stopped that this three hundred and sixty 5 days i think of it relatively is approximately 3cyp very small no longer reliable in case you do unlike small areas. maximum take you to a 5* lodge for lunch then you bypass to the Egyptian Museum the place think approximately 21/2 to be guided around you do no longer even get to be certain a million/2 of it by way of fact there is plenty so as that they have got a tendency to take you around all the important bits and leave you loose to wander for slightly. they're going to sell you tickets to be certain a mummy room interior the museum it cost approximately £12cyp yet back it relatively is worth it just to assert which you have considered something this is historic and with genuine the teeth and hair. maximum will then take you to a papyrus shop for a short demo and the possibility to purchase photographs I even have introduced somewhat a number of those by way of fact i think of that they are super somewhat the somewhat some present day ones that they are doing now. then you get to cruise down that nile and function some dinner jointly as observing the entertainment in any respect cost i propose you to stay sparkling of egyptian wine and beer by way of fact it relatively is vile. This exchange into the style of superb day and it exchange into relatively actual worth the morney spent and that i understand a lot of folk who have come to cyprus to try this holiday and function relatively enjoyed themselves and pronounced they had a super day. in case you want anymore information on it i think of I even have some in basic terms deliver me an email and that i will deliver it to you.
