How about the Rose-Island Korfu (alias Corfu, Kerkira). The Empress of Austria: Sisi (short for Elisabeth) built a palace on this island. It is very green and lush, not like a lot of the other islands who are desertlike (besides Crete). If you two have a bit more money stay at the Palace Hotel which is one of the few 4 Star Hotels of all the Islands. I have been on Corfu 5 times (but in the North where little fishing villages are not as crowded by tourists, but you got to be good on foot to go there and in the North there are pebble beaches with cristall clear water, while in the South the Sand beaches are). Or, if you have really, really a lot of money go to the dream island of Greece: Santorini. Rumor has it that this is where the culture of Atlantis was. It is beautiful, highclass with 4-5 Star Restaurants and Hotels, beautiful Art and Atmosphere. Crete is of course also a nice island, though a little overrun by tourists from Russia, Germany and Britain. But there are some nice spots left. I haven't been there since 12 years, so I do not know how it is now. Have fun deciding and congratulations! Bye the way, all three islands you can reach by plane. Kalimera! (Good day)
