What is Stallis like in Crete..?

What is Stallis like in Crete. ??? ..would it suit a lively couple .. one late 40's and one early 50's..

Stalis is not only full of tavernas, pubs and clubs! It has something more than these! It has beautiful sandy beaches where you can relax under the hot summer greek sun!Imagine your day starting with a nice breakfast on a cafe next to the sea, going on with swimming in the crystal waters and sunbathing and then tasting the delicious cretan cousine and delicate traditional wine.

After all these and of course a good...nap, get ready and go for a drink and of course dancing at the place you desire.

If the nightlife in stalida is not enough for you, Malia is really close, only 15 minutes on foot and less than 3 minutes by car, and there believe me you will find more than you expect!

Stallis is great plenty of bars,discos etc and only down the road from MAD Malia (30 minute walk or 5 mins in taxi)

I was in Stallis two years ago and I thought it was absolutely brilliant, the beach is lovely and the small town itself is lively enough but not too 'mad'. If however you want a more exciting night there is Malia within walking distance, however that was extremely 'mad', there is also Hersonosis a short taxi ride away.

I had one of the best hol;idays of my life there, highly recommended.

i think Stalis will definitely be a good choice for you .I am in my 50's and went there in 2003 and loved it .

its not too busy and not as mad as Malia .

most of the hotels ,bars shops are on the beach road . there are loads of reviews for Stalis just google it . we never had a bad meal in 2 weeks and loved every minute and hopefully can go back one day soon .

its full of bars and restarants on one long strip,its a fab place but dont worry if its not livly enough for you,malia is just round the corner and that is lively
